About Truckstop 26Bis

Truckstop 26Bis is a busy hospitality location in Belgium with a restaurant, convenience store and sandwich bar. We also provide daily food deliveries to a large number of local companies and business customers.

We are about to completely renovate and upgrade our sandwich bar.

During the renovation, from 14/11 until 27/11, our delivery service will continue as usual, but with a temporarily reduced menu.

We want to create a professional flyer that will be handed directly to our existing delivery customers in advance.

The purpose of the flyer is NOT to make the renovation sound like an inconvenience.

The message should be positive:

We are building something better, we continue to deliver during the renovation, and only a small part of our menu will temporarily be unavailable.

Format

We prefer a professional A5 portrait flyer, suitable for printing and handing out with customer deliveries.

The design should be visually attractive, easy to scan and not overloaded with text.

Main headline

The main message can be something along the lines of:

WE BOUWEN AAN IETS NIEUWS!

Supporting text:

“Om jullie binnenkort nóg beter van dienst te kunnen zijn, krijgt onze broodjesbar een flinke upgrade!”

“Tijdens de verbouwingen, van 14/11 t.e.m. 27/11, blijven we jullie uiteraard gewoon beleveren. Ons assortiment zal in deze periode wel tijdelijk iets beperkter zijn.”

This should be presented as the positive/main section of the flyer.

Ordering through our app

This is an important part of the flyer.

Almost all of our regular delivery customers already order through the Truckstop 26Bis ordering app.

During the renovation, the app will automatically show the correct and currently available assortment.

Suggested copy:

“Gebruik zoals gewoonlijk de Truckstop 26Bis bestelapp.”

“In de app vind je tijdens de verbouwing automatisch het actuele assortiment dat op dat moment beschikbaar is. Zo zie je meteen wat je kunt bestellen.”

We would also like space for a QR code linking to our ordering platform/app.

Design direction

The flyer should feel:

Modern

Professional

Fresh

Food-oriented

Clean and easy to read

Premium, but still approachable

Consistent with the Truckstop 26Bis brand

We do NOT want the flyer to look like a cheap supermarket promotion or an overly corporate information sheet.

The renovation is an exciting improvement to our business, so the design should communicate progress and anticipation.

Elements referring subtly to renovation/construction are welcome, but please keep them stylish. We do not want an overload of construction tape, warning signs, hard hats, etc.

Food imagery, architectural elements or subtle references to our new sandwich bar can be incorporated creatively.

We will provide our Truckstop 26Bis logo, brand assets and relevant images.

Language

IMPORTANT: All visible text on the flyer must be in DUTCH.

The English text in this briefing is only intended to explain the project to international designers.

Please use the Dutch copy provided above in the actual design.

Required deliverables

We require:

Print-ready A5 flyer

High-resolution PDF for professional printing

CMYK version with appropriate bleed

High-resolution JPG/PNG preview

Original, fully editable Adobe InDesign (.INDD) OR Adobe Illustrator (.AI) source file

All text must remain fully editable

Images, logos, QR code and graphic elements should remain editable/repositionable where possible

All linked images/assets must be included or packaged with the final files

Please provide information about all fonts used

The source file should be clean, organised and easy for us to edit later

VERY IMPORTANT – SOURCE FILE

A flattened PDF, JPG, PNG or Canva file alone will NOT be accepted as the final source file.

We specifically require the original working file in:

Adobe InDesign (.INDD) OR Adobe Illustrator (.AI)

We want to be able to make future text, date, menu and layout adjustments ourselves.

If working in InDesign, please provide the packaged InDesign project including all links and fonts where licensing permits.

If working in Illustrator, please keep an editable version in which the text has NOT been converted to outlines, so we can still modify the wording ourselves.

Main objective

Customers receiving this flyer should immediately understand three things:

1. Truckstop 26Bis is investing in and completely upgrading its sandwich bar.

2. Deliveries will continue from 14/11 until 27/11 with a slightly reduced assortment.

3. The Truckstop 26Bis ordering app will always show them exactly what is available to order.

The overall feeling should be:

Something exciting is coming — and in the meantime, we are still here for you.
