Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Dear Designers..., we wanted to extend our thank you to some great work thus far. We have now reviewed all the design concepts and will right now pass onto you some concret directions that will permit you to create some concepts that are speaking directly to our audiences. To allow time for that we have one last time extended the deadline.
Having those concret directions will allow you to focus on the quality of the execution of your design and dont need to worry anymore about the conceptual work, which we were able to figure out due to your great submitted concepts.
DIRECTIONS FOR DESIGN: (Please read the following carefully)
FONT:
Use of simple sans serif font. The word UBER and MINDS are to be designed in the same colour and the word EPIC in a different colour. The colours should be refreshing, colourful and need to compliment the colours of the sebwichmann.com website. The way you creatively design and place the word MINDS is up to you.
SYMBOL:
The e or E in epic (EPIC) should be changed in direction (facing back to the word UBER) to highlight the word epic (EPIC).
UBER:
The word UBER needs to be fitting the design but convey a feeling of extraordinary and outstanding, by emphasising the u (U) in UBER. The idea is to integrate a growing/ evolving/ flourishing flower/tree/seedling/blossom that integrates into the U (u) or grows out of the U (u) in the word UBER (uber).
The U in the same time will also be used as a standalone symbol representing the logo.

- The word "MINDS" in "UBER EPIC MINDS" in the logo design will be changed by other products within our portfolio, such as "PASSION" or "WEALTH" or "PURPOSE", meaning that "UBER!EPIC MINDS" is the overall brand, but each product within that brand will be called for example "UBER EPIC PASSION", etc! So, the logo has to be flexible enough so we can change colour depending on the brand product! We like "UBER EPIC" to be the integral piece of the artwork and the word "MINDS" has to be exchangeable to suit different product sequence. The UBER EPIC brand remains through all products in our portfolio.
It needs to be a simple logo that quickly communicates the essence of the message, it has to be memorable and uses a strong concept.
The words UBER EPIC should be integrated into a symbol or some sort of an expressive design and not only consist out of font!
The logo has to be designed with the understanding that the colour will alter for different product sequences in our portfolio. Also, as mentioned the word "MINDS' will change depending on the actual product to 'PASSION', 'MASTERMIND', etc…, so it should be designed with that in mind.

- LOOK AND FEEL OF THE ART WORK
Dominant, Professional and Fun. The words UBER EPIC should pop in the viewers eye and the part MINDS should be calming to balance the logo out.
The logo has to appeal to a professional audience, people such as coaches, trainers and authors. The word UBER EPIC can appear to be quite childish otherwise! But I like to see some humor in there and playfulness and fun. So a good mix would be great!
The logo also has to appeal to females in particular. At the moment there is not much heart essence and feeling in the wording of the logo.
Should not be technical or futuristic, but more appealing to people on an emotional level.
The second part of the design will be the word 'MINDS', which we like to use in an inspiring way
SPECIFIC COLOUR USAGE
There are no special requirements regarding the colour choice, but the logo and branding has to pop in the eye of the viewer! Please review design at sebwichmann.com to get some idea at the current design work.

- We don't want to see a brain or shape of a head as this simply has been overdone, instead let's think about a creative way of how to express the term 'UBER EPIC'. Play on the 'UBER EPIC' idea…, it means something like, "just extraordinary", "absolutely amazing", "super impressive", "mega stunning" and "life changing".
