Illustration-Design Kurzbeschreibung
My company incorporates businesses and networks with accountants who refer their clients. I have a postcard mailer ready to be sent to accountants. The "gorilla in the room" for incorporation services is LegalZoom because of the millions of dollars they spend on SEM, TV and radio advertising. My service is priced about the same as LegalZoom but I'm a lawyer and I provide professionally-prepared documents fully customized for each client. LegalZoom does not. I need to get the attention of accountants who receive my postcard to immediately let them know that I have a unique incorporation service combining the low cost of LegalZoom with the same level of service as a lawyer in private practice. The goal here is to make the postcard instantly entertaining or intrigueing so that the recipient reads it.
Here's my initial thought to make the postcard eye-catching: There's a large image of a smartphone screen with lines of text message. There's a cartoonist figure of an accountant (CPA) on one side of the phone and another cartoonish figure of a business owner (B.O.) on the other side. The face of the phone shows their text dialog that goes something like this (I'll type out each word but the illustration should use common texting shorthand):
B.O.: I need to incorporate a new business.
CPA: I've got an attorney who'll do it for $1,500.
B.O.: I don't want to pay $1,500. What about LegalZoom?
CPA: LegalZoom is just a self-help service using automated software.
B.O. Okay. Find me an experienced attorney who charges about what LegalZoom does.
CPA: LOL
The tag line for my company, Nationwide Incorporators, is "Fast. Affordable. Attorney-powered." www.nationwide-incorporators.com. My home page and "About Us" screens will give you more background.
The illustration will be followed with a simple sentence about the unique nature of my incorporation service with the company name and tag line. There will also be a discount code offer that can be applied on my website questionnaire.

This project is now guaranteed and will be awarded to the most creative postcard design likely to catch the reader's attention and be read. The concept of the smartphone text messaging in the original submission is just one idea to convey my message. Feel free to run with your own way of expressing the message that I want to convey, namely, you don't have to choose between the quality services of an attorney or the cheaper, but skimpy offerings of LegalZoom's self-help incorporation services-Nationwide Incorporators offers both.
