Web-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are rebuilding this website: http://elizabethrichards.com.au/ and need a new professional design template created. The site will be built on Shopify so it should work on this platform. Also it should be "responsive-ready" so the developer can make it work on many devices.

Elizabeth Richards (ER) is a very well respected and trusted school supplies business in Australia. It has been around in Australia for over 20 years, and is widely known and trusted by teachers. You can see their product range on the current website.

The current website, including the logo now looks outdated. There is no need to include the current logo on the template design and we want designs that are not so oriented towards kids. Whilst they sell school supplies the users of the website will be teachers. We would prefer an professional friendly look rather than a kidsy style. In terms of colours we suggest bright and light colours should feature - whilst still keeping a professional, elegant look.

Most of their current orders are made by phone / fax. The teachers look at the catalog (they have physical copies at the school) and then place their orders. A lesser number come through the website but that number will increase significantly over the next year or 2. This new website is to take advantage of this trend towards online orders.

Typically the schools are placing orders for multiple items at once. They will often know what they want to order in advance as they have catalogs. It is very important that it is easy to find items on the site (searching by product name or product code) and it must be easy to order multiple items. The current website has a heavy emphasis on the online catalogs. Whilst we still want these available on the site, we want the focus on these reduced.

We expect the category structure to be quite similar to the current site.

We want the homepage to include an area where there blog posts are shown.
