We need a new website for our company. We perform several functions:

1 - IT and Network Support
2 - Computer Consultancy
3 - Cloud Services
4 - Hosted Exchange & Online Backup
5 - Internet Connections & VOIP

I urgently need a new website to be designed to enable me to look more professional. My competitors website is www.vcns.co.uk

Task outline
To design a home page and another internal skeleton page for a website following our requirements specification and wireframe layout/structure

Task description
We are looking for a modern, attractive, clean design for our new website to reflect our businesses professionalism and high quality services that we offer.
Examples of some of the designs we like can be seen on:
• www.sap.com
• www.oracle.com
We would like a design for a home page and one other skeleton subpage for our website. We have provided a wireframe image to assist, showing how we would like the layout/structure of our website to follow which also highlights where we would like specific content/features to go.
We have listed what features the site must have in the requirements section.
The final design should communicate to our users that we are a professional business that offer high quality services and that we are a company they can trust and rely on.

Look and feel
The wireframe we have attached is a representation of how we would like the layout and structure of the website to be designed. We would like to have a corporate theme to our website.

Colours
Open to interpretation by the designer, as long as the colours suit a corporate theme and give off a professional look and feel.

Requirements
The design must have the following:

General
• Home page design (Based on attached wireframe).
• Internal Page design (This needs to be a skeleton page which can be used for implemented the content for all over pages).

• Contact details to be visible on every page, contact number at the header and all other relative details in the footer section.
• Social networking icons within the footer section of the site.
• Avoid the use of unprofessional images for buttons, icons and banners etc.
Features desired
• Drop down navigation bar. Please see the attached image for inspiration for its design/layout.
o We would like a similar drop down menu design to the one on this site: www.vcns.co.uk.
• Image slider at the header of every page just beneath the navigation bar.
o We would like the Nivo slider to be used for the image slider. Please use this link for an example of it in action: http://www.jqueryscript.net/demo/nivo-slider/
o The image slider needs to be larger on the home page.
o The image slider can be smaller on the rest of the pages of the site.
• Twitter feed present on every page.
• News/Blog feed present on every page.
• Call back form present on every page.
• Google Map implementation above footer on every page.

A user friendly, accessible design that is easy to use and easy for the user to understand. Must have a corporate theme to reflect the professionalism of our business. Content flows logically and keep content spaced out so that it does not make the site look cluttered.
