Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo design for a new business venture. My Washington DC based company is called "DC Corporate Housing" (www.dc-housing.com). We provide short term accommodations to businesses, government agencies, law firms, interns, and any other individual or organization needing temporary housing.

Our concept works like this: DC Corporate Housing maintains long term leases with public and private renters in convenient areas of Washington DC. We then furnish the apartments, turn on cable, internet and utilities and then sub-lease short term (30 days +) to our clients. The service aspect is very important in this industry. Every one of our guests is offered airport pick-up or a property orientation upon arrival. We pre-stock their apartments with food, beverages, information about their area, and any other custom requests they may have.

Our apartments might be in a high rise in Arlington overlooking the DC skyline. They can be in a condo community a block from the White House. They can be in a garden style community near Dulles Airport. Really anywhere that our service is needed we are able to accommodate.

I chose the name DC Corporate Housing because I wanted to give our clients confidence of our expertise in this region. There are few competitors who've adopted a "regional" approach and my goal is to capitalize on that.

Our clients value ease of use, transparency, predictability, and quality. Many of them never get to see our accommodations before they arrive so they want to feel safe that they're getting what they've been promised.

I'm envisioning the logo being D.C. centric. Maybe something involving the the stripe and three stars of the DC Flag. I wouldn't be opposed to a more modern and animated look. Anything symbolic of our product and the usual iconic DC images (Capitol Building, White House, Monument, etc.) are fair game.
