Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I am looking for an Obsidian arrowhead. I already have a design in mind, but I lack the skills required to "clean" it up. The logo will be placed on product packaging, and will be embroidered on hats and shirts. It will also be used in MS Word, MS Excel, Quickbooks and Quicken. So I need a widely excepted file format, that can be easily embroidered. I would also like to blow the logo up without seeing pixels. I would like the arrowhead to be very simple, yet strong. The logo should also be designed in a way that is easy to change the color. I am looking for very dull basic colors, like black, grey, silver, etc.. I would also like the word OBSIDIAN in a simple block letter format, in such a way that I can separate it from the arrowhead when needed. For example, I plan on having baseball hats embroidered with just the arrowhead on the front and the word OBSIDIAN stitched across the back in a straight line.
