In USA, a home buyer will go to a mortgage company and ask for a loan, the lender issues you a paper "Approval" that they will loan you money and then later when you actually buy the home the lender will actually loan you the money. This company guarantees the time period between "Approval" letter and actually loaning the money.

The Logo should be clean, professional and connote strength, history and reliability. Preferred colors are blue, white, black...strong professional colors. Think about insurance companies, old banks, etc. Not flashy or irreverent.
