Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
SBSC is located Long Point on the Derwent River in Hobart Australia. The task is to design a new logo for the Sandy Bay Sailing Club (SBSC). Our club is a small volunteer sailing club catering mainly for junior sailers (less than 18) sailing off the beach dinghies of various types including the Optimist, International Cadet and 29er skiffs. Our current logo is very traditional (see attached) and we are looking for something that is more modern, contemporary and stylish. The graphic should be recognisable as SBSC without the need to read words although the name is likely to be incorporated somehow into the design. The flag is our club flag and most yacht or sailing clubs include a flag although we are not fixed on it being included although the colours probably should match

Thanks to all designers who have submitted so far there is definitely something we are likely to use. We will be short listing designs by the middle of this week and will be in touch with individuals then and request if required any changes. From here it will go to the sailing club committee for a final decision. Great work everyone
