Thank you so much for the invitation to your project. I would like to participate and having been watching your brief but have been caught up with other projects until now. It may not be possible for me to get any artwork to you before the deadline date and I appreciate you have extended that deadline once. However I am away at a family funeral and will not be back until Friday 7th.

If you are happy for me to start work on your project after this date and extend the deadline I will be more than happy to join in.

Please let me know so sorry to ask this at the outset.
