Thanks for the design idea. My name is Ed.
I appreciate your looking at BusinessWeek as a guide, but frankly I''m not seeing them as having a "dark" look like this design. So, I''m not sold on this.

If you can send me to a link showing a sample of BusinessWeek that is similar, I would love to see it. I haven''t found anything like this.

The styling does not necessarily mean that it needs to be dark...their strength lies in their ever-changing art direction, for instance this is their latest edition: http://www.byhero.com/magazine/773549-bloomberg-businessweek-04-10-june-2012-hq-pdf.html . Quirky and almost collectors items, in a way...
