Schilder-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a new sign at the front of the motel to replace an existing dated sign.
This is the main motel sign on the main road to help customers find us and also attract new customers. (old Existing sign photo attached it is yellow)

The sign is attached to an existing frame. It must fit 2885mm in height & 1225mm in width.

The sign is on a tree lined street so it must stand out against the green. I hate the existing yellow and would prefer no yellow to be used. Having said that the current sign does stand out and you cannot miss it. I don't want to completely lose this. I feel a mixture of green, orange, white, and a modern grey would give it a modern feel but keep it fresh and make it stand out. However I'm open to new ideas. I'm not afraid of pink or raspberry either.

The sign behind this replacement sign just says "MOTEL" in a garden green colour. I would like it to compliment this. See photos attached. The smaller MOTEL sign was done via designer crowd about 18 months ago.

Tone: I want the sign to feel fresh, garden/nature inspired ( without being overdone). I want it to keep professional. The current sign looks a bit Microsoft Word Art 1995 to me which I don't like.

Schön zu haben

• Because the motel is hidden from the front building, it hides our large courtyard garden and swimming pool. Which means customers driving past can easily not know we have such a great area because from the road its looks all concrete and brick.
  My thought has always been into include an image of the pool/garden so people can visualize it from the road.
  I've loaded a photo called Poolside 020414. Hoping this can be used. What I would like is a pool to be added in somehow as well. Not sure if a glimpse of a pool can be added/superimposed into part of the grass just to give the illusion of a pool. It could be our pool OR any pool. I would add this part to the bottom right of the image where the shade is. Just enough to people know there's a pool. (no fence needed for the image). The bright blue water against the green grass would be very appealing.
  The more i think about this the more I would like to incorporate this aspect.
