Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for mommas.us, a new site geared towards mothers (and fathers too!) where users can benefit from each others experience, research and ideas. Mommas.us is made up of micro communities of mothers from a certain geographical location, so the forum, posts, articles and knowledgbase are all geographically similar to your own. Our goal is that mothers will use this site to learn from each other, support each other and enjoy the crazy ride called parenthood together.

Our logo needs to be extendable. In other words, we need a main mommas.us logo which will then differ slightly depending on the geographic forum. Our initial forum will be for NYC, so we will want a mommas.us logo and then a NYC version which should be the main logo with a NYC differentiator. Things to think about for the design: babies, children, parenthood and togetherness.
