I''ve been thinking about designs using your firm''s full name versus a design with just the initials. Do you have a preference?

If you see your firm diversifying beyond fluorescence into other measurement technology, you may prefer a logo with just FI as it doesn''t create the same limitations for your brand. 

E.g. IBM isn''t the full International Business Machines - which suits, as they diversified into services a long time ago.
