I have no preference for transparent background. You can try whatever you like.

what is the size of the icons? Do you want icons in different sizes to cater for different platforms?

Eventually, I will need it for all the platforms but, through this project I'm looking at a sample of 8-10 icons only for the desktop site.

But, adaptability of the icons to the mobile platform will be an important criterion for selection. Once shortlisted, the designer will work on the bigger project i.e. 50 odd icons for the desktop site and adaptation for the mobile platform as well.

Hi, regarding update: "Update - Please place the icons on the current home page" I suppose that would mean strip in the 8 - 10 icons into the Indiamart page image you provided (a "dummy" page) and upload that sample? with that do you want the icons submitted separately also, individually or all in a single sample file?
