Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are an Indian Restaurant & Take away in Byron Bay, Northern NSW Australia.
The Name is "Bombay to Byron". Bombay is the food hub/capital of India. we are bringing the authentic Indian food to Byron Bay, including regional Indian cuisine. we are not formal fine dine, as the atmosphere in Byron Bay is very casual & friendly in style.

The logo should represent Bombay in colour, fonts, icons, should scream to say its an Indian place, we would like a fresh look, contemporary style, and we would prefer if could avoid 'colour Red' & 'icon elephant' as it is definitely there on each and every Indian restaurant, but in saying that we are happy to have a look if its different.

Logo should smart, clever, witty & fresh.

Something that describes Bombay [now Mumbai] well, brings out its true sense, As the food would do the same. Also highlights spirit of Byron Bay. Byron Bay is a very popular tourist town on the east coast of Australia, and has a very informal atmosphere.

Also the logo has to go on the Signage on front of the restaurant, Please use colours & fonts that can be read from Far also at night distinctively.
