Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a customized and simple logo for a new smartphone application.
The scope of the app is to put in contact pets owners and people who are up to host pets while the owners are on vacation.
The name of the app is "KeePet", merging the word "keep" and "pet", sounding like "keep it".
Overall, I do not want to impose my view for the design and I would let you designers express your complete creativity.

I just have a couple of notes about the logo:
- A nice idea would be to play with the capital letters "K" and "P", but this is not mandatory.
- I do not want complex logos, full with confusing contents. I prefer simple, clean but original union of elements and colours.
- I do not have a precise idea on the colours. I would need the designer to use some original combination (I would say maximum 2 colours, even playing with white if that is the case).
- The font should be cool and innovative too. Always keep in mind the scope of the project and the target users (both young and older people that love animals).

Moreover, since the logo is going to be integrate inside the app, I need:
- The gradients used for the combinations of colours, so I can perfectly fit them inside the backgrounds and buttons of the app.
- The font to be used inside the app. For that, I add a maximum budget of $15, but even free fonts can be ok if they are cool enough
