they posted it without closing the project.

Actually- the owner didn't like any of these so he used one of his own. I plan on using the winner I will select in this contest for a new date, I'm working on the date now, which is why I haven't selected a winner yet.

The owner??? Well... "the owner" for us is the person who gives and answer the project... that means "You" Mr. Crowell. Do you think what you did was correct? Some of us "Designers" are here because we like what we do... and that is what we studied for.
You had the free will to pick one of several designs, that have been submitted, and ask for some changes... before the deadline. That would be a normal and useful behavior from your part, and a little show of appreciation from other people's work.
I could say to you more and more... just to show you my indignation, but I think there's no point.

It's the owner of the club I mean. If he doesn't want to use the flyer it does me no good to select it. And for your information this is a guaranteed project and one will be selected as soon as I have a date which will be soon. And also, all my projects have been guaranteed and I've always selected one winner. Sorry you got so offended though.

And also- I happened to love a few of the designs, the owner just wanted to go a different route so now I'm just figuring out which party/date to use the flyer for, and I'll select one. I guess it's my fault for not doing it by the deadline, but someone will be selected, I've never done a non-guaranteed project, I value the designer's work so I don't want any freebies.
