Are you wanting a "logotype" this is a brand identity without a Symbol (just text used creatively)... or are you chasing a Brand identity (standard logo) with a Symbol. If you are wanting the latter want type of symbolism do you envisage?

Thanks for the invitation! Designers would really appreciate it if you could give us an insight on your design aesthetic by giving us links to designs that inspire you. This would at least give us a bit of an idea of what you are looking for and so we could not waste time by the mind reading process of what's on your mind. Thanks Todd for the question - either could work and I am simply looking for something distinctive without looking cheesy. A symbol could be great but no ticks - am I over these in the many submitted already - it is too obvious and not classy at all.
