Hello, are you looking for a model or animation (sounds like model)? Is the second picture exactly what the product should look like? If it is, how exact does it need to be (should things like nails be depicted in the model)? Thanks.

For now just an animation that I can use to solicit investors. Once I get some feedback then I'll have a functional design made. I don't want it to look exactly like the second picture, I was just illustrating what one it's function will be.
Eventually I want to have it designed where the exact same parts can be hung under the counter, hung on the door (vertically), or laid horizontally in a drawer.

This will be light weight so I'm hoping for it to not be attached by anything that would puncture the cabinetry, I'm looking for it to be lightly attached with velcro or tape. I want the user to have many options where to put it.

I just want the animation to show it closed and show it opened with the packaging. If I send you graphics of the packaging can you show it in the design in its opened state?

Pictures will definately help, please send to stephenl7797@gmail.com
I'd like to get a few things straight: 1. by closed do you mean it being pressed against a cabinet if it were hung under it?
2. If 1 is correct, the open animation would be it coming down from the cabinet
3. By packaging I assume you mean what the product is holding ( not what the product comes in when it is sold )
Thanks

Thanks for the questions.

1. yes. When the user is in the kitchen and wants the herbs and spices I want them to pull down the holder and have the packaging vertical. Sort of like a old time work clockin/clockout cards are organized. YOu will just see the header. Then you will pull out what product you want.
2. Yes, But also want an animation of the product hanging vertical like on inside of cabinet door. And then one were it is laying down in a drawer where silverware is.
3. yes- the packaging it is holding. I'll send you a couple packaging renderings.

If you have any samples of that sort of packaging, could you please upload them into you brief as well?
Thank you

Hello:

I am working on something but I don't think it will be finished by deadline. Any chance of extending for a day or two?

Cheers,

Gary

I've got two really good designs so far and either I would be happy with. So it might not be worth your time. But, if it's something you want still go for then let me know.

hello:

Thanks for the response

I was preparing to create a 3D animation that could be used as a promotional video. One benefit of the design skills I bring to the table is that once the conceptualization is complete, I can work with you to create production ready designs as I've just done with another client. We started with a nice looking 3D design to win over investors and then took those designs into a machinable design flow to create a prototype.

Is this something you are looking for?

I've just finished the kitchen environment and have started on the rack but haven't yet worked out spring placement etc. Should I continue?

That is what I'm looking to do. I want to get a design then get investors by showing the concept.
I don't know exactly what the dimensions will be, I just know how it will need to function. The packaging that I am designing will be 3 inches wide by approximately 4.5 inches high. I want this rack to be very simple to use and attach at an affordable cost.

See this clip http://youtu.be/fCwokTuIjPk

This is pretty much how I want it to look but this is not a production ready design. A couple of things I think this will need is 1. a mechanism to upright the packaging if the user intends to have it in a drawer (horizontal) 2. a cover for it if they choose to hang it vertical. If it is vertical I want it to hold 15 or so packages.

Knowing this what do you advise? If you want to work on it then I'll extend deadline a little further out.
