Do you need the simple and technical versions separated? As in two images? Or just one design?
And what are your preferences regarding the dimensions of the infographic? Will it be landscape or portrait? Is it for a webpage or for print? Or what height-to-width aspect ratio must it follow?

I think as one design is fine. Portrait is fine. It's for a web page. My plan is to just PDF it for a first release so we have something on the site whilst it's being coded up into a web page, but the ultimate version is a web page.
