Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Liox is a research company developing next-generation very high energy density batteries for electric vehicles. The name "Liox" comes from a combination of "lithium" and "oxygen", which are active components of our batteries. We are looking for a logo that conveys the subject of chemistry. Specifically, we would like the logo to have "Liox" written with a capital "L", lowercase "i", capital "O" and subscript "x", which reflects a chemical formula of an oxide of lithium with variable oxygen stoichiometry. Additional graphics in the logo may, for example, illustrate a molecule, e.g. the path electrons around a nucleus. We favor a color scheme with shades of blue, black and grey.

Thank you for the great designs so far.  We will extend time frame and guarantee payment.  Also, we plan to post a web design project shortly.  We would like to add the following stipulations:

1. Please omit "inc." from logo submissions.
2. Please make sure that the submitted designs have capital O and subscript x: LiO_x
3. We want to the logo to reflect/convey two aspects of our technology: "chemistry" and "energy".  We like molecular orbital imagery but not like the seal for the Atomic Energy Commission (see http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Atomic_Energy_Commission.jpg), since we are not a nuclear energy company.
4. We like a color scheme of shades of black and blue, particularly like the blue flame here: http://graphicriver.net/item/blue-burning-fire-flame-background/4629722.
5. The lettering itself needs to contrast clearly with a white background (i.e. no white lettering imposed on a dark background).
