Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
Ay, qué chulo! is a review website (www.ayquechulo.com) focused on the Dominican Republic, presenting reviews for hotels, restaurants, mobile service providers, among others. It is a city guide similar to yelp.com. The name “Ay, que chulo!” is a Dominican expression that can be translated to “wow, how cool!” It is used regularly and with lots of excitement.
We are interested in either a wordmark or a pictorial/ combination logo where the phrase, “Ay, qué chulo!” is the main focus.

Thank you very much forthe submissions. We have received nice logos, but most have focused on thebeaches. Since our website will include reviews for restaurants, movietheaters, mobile service providers, etc, we would like to see other concepts aswell.

Hello, again. I havereceived some questions regarding other themes apart from beaches. Below pleasefind some ideas and more information about typical things in the DR. We mustkeep in mind that most of the website's traffic will be local.
(1) As I mentioned inthe original description, something curious about the DR is motorcyclescarrying 2 or more people or buses teeming with people:

(2) Typical food: greenplantains, mangoes, coconuts (Dominicans also like beer.). You can refer to the "Vecindad" logo we posted for ideas.
(3) Typical instruments:drums, "guira", acordeon
(4) Typical dance:merengue
(5) Sports: baseball
Since one of the nationalbirds is the parrot, we were thinking about 3 parrots riding a motorcycle.
(6) Dominican Republicis also known for its Colonial city. It also has modern buildings and manyrestaurants. The logo could depict different types of building (please refer tothe “buildings” logo we posted to get ideas).

- We need a logo that is fun, colorful, and has a certain Caribbean flair. The logo should tell a story that reflects the country and its people. Dominicans are happy, friendly and sociable. The country is known for its white sandy beaches, palm trees, music, and sports (baseball). It has certain peculiarities that makes it distinctive like buses teeming with people and motorcycles carrying 2 or more passengers. Life can seem chaotic, but has lots of charm.
The main colors for the logo could be yellow, green, blue, and orange.
The logo must be memorable, and original.
