Poster-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are looking for a 'concept design' image/brand ID that will be used for a short film project made by youth in Country Victoria (Ouyen) Australia. The image should be recognisable and tranferable but primarily used as a poster to advertise the film and associated activities (workshops, casting dates etc)
In regards to style - I am hoping something very graphic and a little bit retro. Some reference to the town would be good .... sheep, wheat silo, farms (best advice is to google Ouyen). Designs that include a vanilla slice (google it) will be looked apon with great favour! One very important thing is that it must not be too graphic so we scare the little children as we hope to display in the streets, schools and hospitals.
