Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Hello Dessssigners

We are based in Portugal providing children party entertainment services as our main activity. But we also work for grown ups who want dance, fitness, bodypainting, magic shows, and such, as entertainment. It's all about funny and customized parties for several special events, such as birthdays, weddings, baptisms and corporate events.

The company name "Era uma vez..." (meaning: "Once upon a time...") reflects the fantasy and the dreamy atmosphere often present in our themed parties for children which is the most required service.

We are searching for a happy, elegant, delicate and modern logo, so that it can represent our brand which is also very professional, unique, dynamic and fun in a sophisticated way.

We would like to see colorful designs (we favor pastels, shades, tints), and badge logos.
We DON'T like themes related to castles, circus, flowers or crowded designs. Some bright colors are allowed to give energy and fun to the logo.

Requirements: vector files, scalable and editable so it can be added to different supports, such as website, business cards and roll ups.

Our intention is to communicate trust, quality and happiness to our clients, as well as being an open door to fantasy and imagination through our unique and joyful events. Happiness above all!

EDIT:

Please keep in mind this is a logo for kids events! We would like the logo to convey the energy, joy and fun of kids. We want them to think the logo is fun and that we are fun too! When incorporting elements to your designs think of what kids like! Do it with class! ;)

Hi designers,


You guys are doing an awesome Job, thank you for accepting out invitation! We already got some feedback to you so you can steer your designs in the right direction. 

There are a couple of things that we think can be improved so it meets our desires:

- Although we said we like pastels we think the logo also needs some live/brighter elements in there. This is something for kids so we want to transmit more of that kids energy, joy and liveniness. 

- We also sent you some examples of logos with the pastel colors. Despite these logos contained flowers that''s something we do not wish to see replicated in our design. We are not too fond of the flower theme, specially for this project. Anyways, if you feel it suits the spirit you can incorporate other elements, please keep in mind this is for kids.Whatever elements you choose think of what kids like and think it''s fun! We want to appeal them... we want them to think we are fun too!  ;)

Finally, and this goes along with the earlier directions, we think all proposals need to have more of that kids magic and joyfull spirit and energy. This is a logo we would like kids to be inspired with, have fun and dream about.

PS: I've added a "Princess Sofia" logo at the project description with an example of a kids logo that we think it's cool too! ;)

Hi Designers,


We've been seeing lots of designs that are limiting to 1 or 2 colors and also to pastel colors. As we mentioned we want something that inspires that fun and energy of kids. For that we believe that it translates better the message if the logo is more color rich and also some components with live/bright colors to complement the pastels to make it more live and energetic. 

Any doubts please shoot out! We want to do whatever is in our reach to steer you in the right direction.

Hi designers,


First of all we would like to thank you for your submissions and hard work so far. 

Unfortunately we haven't seen any logo yet that captures the spirit that we are looking for, although ones are much closer that others. Perhaps this can be part out fault since it's not easy to transmit what we're looking for in a text message. Despite that, we've seen some artist's portfolio which are really talented and we really wanted to work with them to find our logo, since we are sure you're capable to get where we want.

To help you we've selected 3 logos that I think have the elements we are looking for in a logo, please use them to tune down your inspiration:

These are for cake shops, so take that in consideration. Also think out of the box regarding colors, since we don't want it to been neither too feminine (too much pinks) nor too masculine. It should be somewhere in the middle.

Here are some guideline to help you: 

1 - The lettering for "Era uma vez..." should suggest a fantasy theme. (live colors, maybe with some "sprinkle reflections";

2- We want to introduce a a sub-lettering that says "animação de eventos". This has a translation to English "animation events".

3 - We want the logo to incorporate one or more main central elements that suggest the party imaginary. In the example of logos we gave, these were the Muffins.  

3 - The badge / logo frame should be offseted and rich. We would like to see some light pattern background. This is where Pastel/Degrade colors should be tried out. Inside the frame you should have the Company name and the central element(s).

4 - For the otheside of the frame we would also like to see a background pattern to make the contrast.

5 - Use at least 3 colors! (privilege pastel/degrade colors but also use some bright/live colors to give it contrast and life! 


To make it fair the the most promising artists as of now we will be cutting down the artist we believe don't correspond to our needs. 

Also next Monday (at night) we would like to choose the best 3 designs and work more closely until a winner is found.
