Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are a project managing company in the construction business. Redmond Construction is located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. We're 2 brothers working on this. We're Half Irish and half french-canadian, but we don't feel we need to have any reference to that on the logo (unless a wizard proves us wrong). We are looking for a simple logo. Our first thought is to only have the 2 words with no other design accompanying the 2 words. "Redmond Construction" can be on 2 lines or on 1 line. We are opened to see something very subtile accompanying "Redmond Construction". Don't go with any construction tools (hammer, drill, etc) as we do not hold any hammers or any tools. We manage construction projects. As for colors, we have "red" in our family name, so if you want to go with a LITTLE red, ok. But not an "in your face" red logo. No green please. But suggestions of any accent color will be considered (don't try pink!). As for a second color, consider staying with something grayscale, like maybe titanium gray or charcoal gray, light gray, etc. You're the designers! We want to give an impression of a "chic" and "modern" look. "Tough" is not to be considered so don't go with diamond plates or anything. Forget about any retro or medieval fonts. We don't have any slogan or anything. "Redmond Construction" plain and simple. No 3D. Please consider having the necessary to have the logo over black and white backgrounds.
