Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
I am an art instructor and artist in Canada needing a logo that is primarily my name "CherylO", and could also include in smaller letters "Art Courses""Original Art". I teach adults (no children) to paint and draw, and my emphasis in courses is to encourage individual interpretation and creativity in my students. I sell my original paintings through galleries in Canada and online as well. You can see my art on my website: www.cherylo.ca (And yes, my legal last name is just one letter "O" so it doesn't need a period after.)
Update: having now viewed a number of designs, I have found that I strongly prefer to have "Art Courses" and "Original Art" both included in a smaller and plainer font than the "CherylO".
Update: I would like to see some designs that include a symbol for a wind-swept pine tree.

If you want to use a paint brush symbol, it needs to be creatively integrated with the design, and not just standing along side. About colours, keep in mind that the orange was to be an accent only. If you would like a second colour suggestion, I might like a grayed-blue with that. Think of these colours as suggestions, and feel free to use completely different colours if you feel they would work better with your particular design. Thanks!

Here are some fonts (I found them on Fontspace) that appeal to me for "CherylO": ILS Script Font, Freebooter Script, ALS Script, Regency Script. I hope this will give you a better idea of what I am looking for in fonts.
Also, I have upped the budget for my logo.
There is one other symbol that I would like to see some designs containing; that is a wind-swept pine. Unlike the brush symbol, this one might be alright standing near the name fonts, or alternatively, it would also be alright integrated with the fonts as well. Thanks for considering this.

Schön zu haben
- I prefer fonts that flow or have some movement for my name. Also including "Art Courses" and "Original Art" as secondary emphasis would be nice. I might like a touch of bright orange as an accent, in other words a small amount (red-orange, not yellow- orange. About the sliders above, can something be both bold and elegant?

- No illustrations of a painter's palette - I think it's been overused.
