Web-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Looking for a fresh redesign of a crowd funding website that deals in real estate. I already have the content, but am looking to take the design to the next level.

Existing real estate crowd funding sites focus on the real estate. I want to explore communication angle that:
- puts the investor in the centre of the communication: "become a baron"
- highlights the international nature (international properties, international investors)

There's also quite a lot of copy on the site, as we need to explain the service in quite a bit of detail. There's room to reduce the copy and replace with graphics. Could also consider clicking to see different text (see our difference section in http://eventsinedmonton.com)

The backend of the platform is already being worked on by a specialist crowd funding service provider.

In total there are 5 pages to be designed.

The homepage is really important. Right now it looks quite dated. It doesn't have a great layout. Note there is no mobile version of the website, so the pages need to be seen well on mobile devices. When looking at the brief, refer to the following links too:

Attached are logo files and another file which contained copy for the pages. No need to rework the logo.

Please make sure to use the same copy in the brief on the webpages, to ensure the layouts work. Designers are free to propose images they feel work on the pages.

I would like to see if rather than tweaking the pages, it's possible to come up with a better design concept. If the 5 pages are accepted, there's a chance I'll request an additional 4 pages.

At the moment, only rich are able to buy real estate. With this service, anyone can become a landlord. Target buyers:

Young professionals, looking to diversify from stock market and lower risk
People nearing retirement, looking for stable rental incomes
Retirees - looking to supplement pensions with possibility of capital gains
Parents - looking for a way to save long term for their children (instead of low interest paying bank accounts)

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• Overall, the site must convey "whoever you are, you too can become a landlord", and that you don't need to be wealthy to invest in real estate. See
  
  Communication should put the investor (or the baron) at the centre. The investor can be any of those described in the target market.
  
  Show the aspirational side of property ownership.
  
  In addition to the investor/baron character, the second main theme is international. No other real estate crowdfunding website highlights this.

Schön zu haben

• Banner could show different consumer types, to illustrate that the service can appeal to many different profiles. Refer to attached file "home page reference - simpleasmilk.com" as an example of how this could be done.
  
  Aim to show the international side of the service. Properties around the world, investors around the world.
