Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Milestone Communications needs to refresh its logo, and needs copies of the high resolution source files for use in future marketing communications materials. Using the existing logo icon, we are looking for help with the fonts and placement/layout of the company name.

Founded in 2000, Milestone Communications is the leading developer of customized wireless infrastructure in partnership with schools, enabling them to direct millions of dollars annually to educational and extracurricular budgets.

Milestone works closely with local government and communities to provide solutions that are aesthetically and functionally optimized for their environments. Milestone manages a bank of more than 900 current and potential wireless infrastructure sites in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The logo can be viewed on Milestone's website at www.milestonecommunications.com. Files of the logo have also been attached for reference.

The current logo uses the words, "Milestone Communications." We would like to see those words used in options for a refreshed logo.

We would also like to compare the existing words for the logo with a version that says "Milestone Towers."

The current logo has a vertical or square layout. We would like logos in a horizontal layout, where the text is to the right of the image.

The logo image is not a focus of this project. The image and colors will remain the same. The image is meant to be representative of a wireless tower. Use the existing image in your layouts.

The fonts in the logo can be updated. Understanding the target audience and value proposition of Milestone, please offer logo options with clean, easy-to-read, strong, conservative, friendly fonts.

The target market for Milestone includes two audiences:

School Landowners: Administrative leadership of schools (i.e., superintendants, principals), faculty management leaders and other school decision makers (i.e., finance, legal) regarding the use of school property for wireless infrastructure. Milestone’s goal is to sign up new wireless infrastructure sites and partner with schools for new wireless infrastructure projects.

Wireless Carriers: Wireless carriers will visit the site to download the latest map of Milestone’s tower sites and land sites where we have agreements. They typically contract with local site consultants to identify potential sites. They may prefer to speak to us after quickly assessing if we have a site that they need. We want them to 1) recognize that we have a great number of sites that might meet their needs and 2) be able to find the point of contact quickly and easily.
