does the flag required in the logo,cause that part i feel is busy and the lines behind is also restricting it

The logo needs to convery Australian made and owned however the flag does not have to be on the logo.

Now, you have a logo which doesn't remain of your previous identity.
But in your brief you told us something opposite and
this was a right direction.
And of course, you must invest more money now for
additional advertising materials, to explain
to the customers that this is the same.
If somehow I would be the owner of this Co., you will
be already out, today.

I appreciate your feedback on this however this design was chosen because we felt it best promoted a premium look and feel for our brand while still showing that we are Australian made and owned. Our designer will be using the winning design as a base to re-design our logo so that we can ensure that it still ties in with our previous brand identity. I appreciate the work that was done by all designers who submitted logo designs and it was a very difficult decision to choose just one. The logos that both Turkeyman and georgedesign were of a high quality and we will be in contact in the future should we require any other designs.
