Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Kamkav is bringing cacao trees back to Cambodia. Besides own plantations we are also setting up cacao nurseries and Cacao Development Centres to assist and educate small scale farmers in switching to cacao with high yields.

The logo/brand must appeal to international businesses as well later on to asian and european consumers .

The logo must have a true authentic cambodian feeling by using the world famous Angkor Wat face with the mysterious 'Mona Lisa' smile. This smile is important to the logo. it implements the happy feeling you will experience after consuming the chocolate made of the high quality cacao beans of Kamkav.

The logo must somehow also reflect the origin: the cacao pods. Maybe the smiling face offering the cacao pods to us.

Cacao pods come in different colors (even purple and orange like) but the most appealing colors are the yellow gold and the chinese red.

the Brand name is Kamkav. Maybe the name can be made of cacao pods or cacao beans, maybe not.
but because in Cambodia the logo name must be written in Khmer, and secondly (if you wish) in english, the brand name must be stand alone from the logo.
normally the khmer name is on top, then the logo below, and below the logo the brand name in english.

three years from now we will start selling high quality cacao beans to small scale chocolate makers in european and asian markets

I need a design that resembles high quality from a tradition that dates 1000 years back (cacao was grown here in cambodia few hundred years ago).

In the logo I want a creature, to make an emotional connection. preferably the god face of Angkor Wat with the 'Mona Lisa' smile.

Instead of yellow, also gold could be used as a color to make a statement of high quality. maybe the logo can be more detailed, and less abstract, like the symbol of the royal house of cambodia.. the tagline will later be: "cacao from the kingdom of Cambodia"
