Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
We are looking for a logo design for our brewpub located in Yellowknife, NT. The name of the brewpub is "The Woodyard Brewhouse & Eatery". We are going with a rustic yet modern feel. Our brewpub is in Yellowknife, the capital of the Northwest Territories, located in a remote and scenic part of the Canada. Here you can experience all the wonders of nature along side the amenities of a modern city. Yellowknife is a charming mining town with a vibrant aboriginal culture and arts community. "The Woodyard" is an eclectic neighbourhood in Yellowknife that dates back to the early 1940's. The mosaic of shacks that housed trappers, fisherman, miners, woodcutters and bootleggers added significantly to Yellowknife's reputation as a wild frontier town.

Hello everyone! We apologize for the lack of communication as we have been super busy with getting our brewpub project going. As for the logos that have been submitted we are happy with the direction they ae going however we would like to see a few more designs that are an emblem shape with more reference to The Woodyard neighbourhood. Think old tools, antlers, rustic wood, shacks. Play around with black and white versions and/or options with pops of bright colors like blue and green. Thanks again for all your submissions, we hope to finalize a logo soon! Cheers!

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Hey everyone! I just wanted to thank everyone for their submissions, I feel we are getting a lot closer to choosing a final logo. We want to further extend the project deadline to ensure we get a logo we are completely happy with. With that being said, I wanted to remind designers that we are looking for a simple clean logo that is not too busy and must work for all print, website, signage etc. formats. I will be adding more example photos. We would also like to see a version of the logo just using the "W" from Woodyard that we can use as a simplified version of the entire logo. Please take advantage of the opportunity to incorporate something from the history of the Woodyard neighbourhood i.e. the use of a canoe paddle, canoe image, antlers, old shack, axes, saws, antler rack etc.. There is a great opportunity here to incorporate one of those items into the logo. Thank you all again!

- Looking for a logo that will work well as a hanging sign. We like more of a classic look either black and white but we are also not opposed to something with vibrant colours. Logo should have something to do with The Woodyard neighbourhood.
