Web-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are keen to redesign the appearance and functionality of journalsurf.co.nz, a site aimed at teachers.
Journalsurf provides teachers with a the ability to search for teaching resources in a printed journal series.

These wireframes are also attached here as a zip file (you'll need an Internet connection to see the images when loading them in a browser).

The redesigned site needs to be attractive and easy for users to use, and should be friendly and not too business / corporate-like.

The high majority of users will be only interested in the search functionality (which is why it is so prominent throughout the site).

We don't particularly want to continue using the current pink colouring and logo of the existing site, so please ignore these.

It also needs to be able to be responsive such that it can be used on desktop computers and tablets (though not phones).

We expect to have to support browsers back to IE8, though we can use polyfills to use modern web conventions in these older browsers.
