Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Dog & Co. needs a new logo! Launching online this fall, Dog & Co. is a specialty retailer offering a curated selection of upscale dog products and accessories. Dog & Co. will feature mostly independent & contemporary pet brands with a focus on products designed with both form and function in mind. Dog & Co.'s website will have a clean, minimal aesthetic, with a slightly heritage / classic American feel using a simple font and black & white color palette. Websites such J.Crew, Madewell, and J.Crew have served as inspirations for the feel.
"Dog & Co." is the name of the business and should be featured ; "Quality Pet Supply" is the tagline and should be secondary. Ideally, the logo would also be black on white, and able to fit well within a square. I like that the temporary / mock logo that I created looks a bit like a dog tag with the circle enclosing the text, as it relates directly to my business..I wouldn't mind keeping that element (the circle surrounding the text), but am open to other proposals as well. The tag line could be within or outside of the circle if used.
The logo will be used on the website, marketing materials, etc.
