- Overview / Background of the Business

A diversified design and clothing company where the labour is compensated fairly, the clothes are stylish, and the profits are reinvested in the community on a global scale not as profit but as sustainable income on a shared basis for all the employees.

The entire aim of the company is to create a high value, low carbon footprint, sustainable product for the long term employment and revenue generating capacity for both Australia and Brazil.



-The Target Market / Audience we are trying to reach

We are trying to meet a target market of 18-35 and 35-49 with a concern about social justice.

Individuals who would consider themselves social progressives.

In this instance we are concerned more with fashion and response to foreign (i.e. Chinese and Asian market sweatshop abuses.) production of textiles.



- Design Specifics;

João da Silva Arruda is a small brown skinned Brazilian boy with attitude. He is a cartoon character who looks like he could fit right in on the cartoon tv show The Boondocks.

He lives in a favela, he is 11 years old and he starts a business to raise money to go to a private school so he can go to Harvard University.

He is a character who is socially aware and seeks to make a difference in his community. Please see the attached images to draw inspiration.

- Content to be included in the web design -

We require a Homepage for the site.
As the site will ultimately evolve into a full fledged web store portal it is important to remember the design needs to be scalable for clothing, social causes, designs etc.
