Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a new company based in Colordado. The company is called Dev Cycle. We create mobile and cloud applications, and do web application consulting.

Dev Cycle is named both because we perform iterative design, but also because we have a passion for bikes, and some early apps will be bike-related. I'd like to work that into the logo in a fairly subtle way. One of the ideas that I had was something along the lines of the System Preferences logo for Mac, except with a bike crank instead of the gear. Probably not as busy as the Sys Pref logo though.

The long view for the company is not about bikes, it is about application development, mobile and cloud, so that needs to come through more than the bike idea, which is optional, but desired.

• Because Microsoft Azure is a primary platform, I'm looking for a vaguely Metro feel, a la: https://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/home/features/overview/ I'd rather it not be quite as stark as the white on single color icons

• App development will be for iOS, Android and Windows Phone, so nothing that excludes a platform. (i.e., no apples, or window logos or hints)
