Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
I'm looking for a logo that will be used typically such as on a website, on fb, business cards, pamphlets etc. but also as a watermark on my photos. The watermark doesn't have to be exactly the same but it could be a variation of the designed logo. Since it will be used as a watermark, it will need to look good on a dark or light background. Landscapes, barns, and pretty much anything rustic are my specialties. Check out my SmugMug page at http://theviewthrumylens.smugmug.com/ for some examples of my work.
Here is the challenge - my business name. Since my last name is Appel, pronounced apple, there tends to be some confusion on the spelling. If someone has a way to draw attention to the correct spelling, that would be a plus, as long as it's done well. Also, hopefully it goes without saying but absolutely no apples in the logo. I am not opposed to a different business name but have yet to come up with anything I like better.
There's my starting description, I'm sure I will be editing it as we progress. Thanks!
Update - After receiving a few designs, thank-you all, I have a suggestion. Although I don't mind a camera image in my logo, I think I would prefer something that relates to what I take pictures of, maybe a mountain or landscape of some sort, a barn, barbed wire and wood post fence, old doors, old windows, a path, lake,something along those lines. Should probably stay away from trees or at least anything that resembles fruit trees because of the whole Appel vs. apple thing, cedar trees would be o.k.. Thanks!
