Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are a technology start-up called Morpho Solar from Norway who are working with a solar technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. We are designing a cooking solution that can enable people in refugee camps to cook food indoor at night with heat from the sun.

Todays cooking solutions in developing countries(east Africa is our market) use biomass (wood) as their main energy source. This results in deforestation, health problems due to smoke inhalation and assaults on those who collect wood.

Morpho Solar´s vision is: Creating clean thermal solar energy towards a brighter common future.

The designed logo should communicate that we need to change our energy source to sun (symbolized through Morpho the butterfly). We would like the logo to represent environmental friendliness, healthy, safety and clean. We also want the logo to show that we have an innovative technology using the heat from the sun, and that we are a serious actor. The logo should be simple and clean.

Morpho the butterfly is blue and we could see this color be combined with a warm red/orange color. We want the logo to be inspired by a butterfly, and the logo may or may not be used as the M in our company name Morpho Solar.
