Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

National UK PV (photovoltaic or Solar electricity) installer is requiring a new logo. Turnover in 5 years expected to top £50m.

The target market is split into domestic and commercial:

Domestic - 35-80 years old, ABC economic groups, retired professionals, those with a desire to save money and make sensible use of the free solar energy around us - and are willing to invest large amounts to do so.

Commercial - companies, public sector, multi-nationals, major investors.

Background: UK people are able to put solar panels on their roof and get paid for energy that they produce. Investments can range from £5000 to £10m pounds...

What we are trying to achieve: We are a national installer looking to develop a very strong, identifiable brand in the market place. Our brand is about quality for all market sectors. Also, we need to promote that we are well established and a large company that has been operating on a naional basis.

Logo requirements: Iconic and easily recognisable. Logo should have an icon and possible additional text. This text can say "PVI" or PV Installer

Logo should be 2 colours, work well as a large gaphic and at smaller levels. Simple is good.

To avoid (please don't be offended if this sounds rude):

1. Images or outline of the UK as a national identifier
2. Detailed logos that are too obviously a solar panel installer
