Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Hi there,

Are you into creating awesome logos and are you ready to design the best logo ever?? Then this creative challenge is for you:

01) Improvement current logo; "redmera"
Redmera is a little but high-level multi-disciplinary design agency.
The word ‘redmera’ evolved from my last name “Redmer” and my first name “Anet”, trying to find a cool domain name, which turned out to be www.redmera.net. Hence the name.
Redmera’s services:
- UX consultancy: User is always central
- Often designs for innovative company, product and service launches
Web, brand, corporate identity and spatial design

Current logo (see attachment 'logo redmera.png') represents a transformation within the word 'redmera', from 'fragmented, unstructured, harsh, bold' to 'esthetic, harmonic, rhythmic, elegant'.
Primary color: powerful red
Background: Gold (see scan business card), conform the slogan ‘good as gold’. As of now web site might have a golden background behind the logo (unless you have a better idea).

TASK 01 ‘redmera’: Would you improve the written logo to make it even more powerful? If yes, how? If no, why not? Any ideas for a symbol or icon for redmera?

TASK 02 ‘afutured’: Please create a “sister” logo with the same design principles for ‘afutured’. Suggestions for a written and a symbol/icon logo would be very much appreciated.

02) Afutured is a ‘new business development and applied future research agency’.
Afutured stands for ‘framing the future’ and again is an indirect name play with my first and last name ( A and red).
The website is absolutely obsolete and will be completely redone and modernized very soon, but here the URL for your reference: www.afutured.com.

I would like ‘redmera’ and ‘afutured’ to be related like two sisters with similar / same design principles, for example with both logos representing a transformation within the word. Colors, shapes and fonts could them be totally different. But this is only a suggestion.

I am very curious, how you interpret this design challenge and am looking forward to seeing your ideas.
