Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are currently in the food industry and have been for many years with many followers, we are looking to branch out to some weekend extra work and have huge potential for growth in the market stall areas.

Need a logo for a weekend local market stand with prospect of going more to larger catering. I will be selling " Dutch poffertjes" (description is : small pancakes served with a multitude of different toppings i.e.: icing sugar and butter, maple syrup and strawberries, sample picture attached) situated in Perth, Western Australia.

I would like to focus on the cute size of the pancake and come accross with a fun cartoonish feel using pastel colours or colours in general. I would welcome turning the pancake into a character or having a character incorporated in the design.
Street art is also welcome or old style cartoon, but staying away from Manga designs thanks.
