Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Logo design for existing civil/structural engineering company based in rural Queensland, Australia. We have over 50 years continuous trading history in our region and need to update our corporate image to stay in touch with our city competitors.
Our company name is Brandon & Associates Pty Ltd and we have more information on our website about our services. Our current logo is intended to represent a bridge structure below the text with a road above the text. Due to changes over time, the format has lost some of its impact.

We are chasing options for a combination pictorial /word based logo incorporating 'Brandon' say , to a combination pictorial/letter based logo incorporating 'B&A' for example, to a straight letter based logo, to a stylised logo that does not represent any lettering but possibly the industry/services we offer. (ideas: bridge, road, compass/protractor image, ruler, math numbers...?)
Our current colours are a deep blue and gold, but are open to maybe blue, grey & a gold highlight, or any other blue combination.
The logo is to be ultimately incorporated throughout our marketing publications/business stationery/vehicles/banners etc and should be ideally suitable for reverse colour printing on various background colours (such as clothing).
