Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Overview

I need a logo for Busana.com, an online shop selling apparel and a portal for fashion. "Busana" means clothing or apparel but is also translated as "fashion" in Indonesian language. The website just launched (not yet optimised) so it is not an ideal representation for the logo, but you can check it out (www.busana.com) to see the product range it carries. When visiting the website, don't forget to notice a page dedicated to tips and trends.

The vision of this website is to become the leading reference for fashion in Indonesia. Its missions are: (a) to offer a comprehensive range of fashion products and (b) to provide fresh tips and trends to fashionistas, and (c) to promote beginners' online shops and help them grow in the industry. Mission "c" is pretty much a CSR that we love to do and are currently doing by promoting small boutiques on our fanpage every Monday and Thursday for free.

Form preference

An icon and text (i.e. Busana.com) should form the logo. I like the icon that can be translated into a relevant philosophy. For example, see www.harlointeractive.com, in which the logo represents letters H and I but at the same time it resembles a person with a bubble comment. The text has to be full (i.e. Busana.com, not Busana).

Color preference

The logo shall come in multi-colors, at least two. I have used blue so far and I like it because it fits the Facebook background. One of Busana.com's strength is its large fanbase on Facebook. Check out our fanpage at http://www.facebook.com/busanacom. We advertise on Facebook (and plan to move into Twitter as well). It is important for me to stay fit with these two websites due to this particular marketing strategy. For example, our current logo uses the font type that Facebook uses for page names.

I am completely willing to compromise the above color preference. At the end of the day, the logo should represent the world of fashion that comes with all kinds of colors. So, if my designer can submit at least two design options (a. caring Facebook and b. completely ignoring it) I think that's a great win for me.

  Text "Busana.com" must stand as the logo itself. The text should be in a unique font type, easily readable and legible.

Schön zu haben

• Icon in letter B
  
  I like to see the letter B stand out in the logo. The B icon could just be an abstract or object that looks like B. Consider planting a philosophy inside (discussed above).

• 1. animal or human look (including face, body, part of body)
  2. shopping bag, trolley, or cart images or associations
  3. specific fashion images (shoes, hats, etc), but a broad fashion product image could work
