Flyer-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Activation Energy operates a Demand Response Scheme on the National power grid in Ireland. Essentially we sign up commercial electricity users who have a flexible electricity demand (i.e. can switch plant items off when requested) and commercial electricity users who have back-up generators (i.e. can switch their power generators on when requested). This flexible Demand Reduction Capacity is called on by the national grid when the grid wants to balance power supply & power demand. Our participating sites receive significant standby/capacity payments every month just for being available to reduce demand/switch on generators.

This type of business is well established in many countries (USA, UK, France, Germany) but Activation Energy is the first to launch such a business in the Irish market.

We therefore need a two-sided A4 flyer to deliver the following message:

1) Highlight to readers (typically these will be Facility Managers/engineers/CFO's) that our Demand Side Unit will pay their company money in return for offering short and temporary reductions in electricity demand. It is an income stream for commercial users, with no costs involved - a chance to turn their electrical infrastructure from 'cost centres' into 'revenue centres'.

2) Briefly explain to readers what a Demand Side Unit is (prob by using a graphic similar to the graphic we already use in our existing flyer (available for download at www.activationenergy.ie)

3) Highlight two sample 'Case Study' examples of what customers can earn under our scheme

4) Communicate that Activation Energy is licenced by the national regulatory authorities

We have already used a flyer during our launch stage and now wish to have a new flyer designed to assist in marketing.

NB! The service we offer is sold to professionals only, mostly in large industrial companies, so it is important that the flyer presents a professional, engineering-competent image

• Graphic explaining what a 'Demand Side Unit' does as many readers will not be familiar with our service. I have attached an example of the graphic which we have used in the old flyer but a new graphic would be very welcome. The old flyer and also the new flyer text files which I have attached are not design directions - I am just attached them so you see the amount and type of text & photos which we are currently considering
