I just have a couple of questions...
What colours would you like to see used?
And in terms of overall style you like that simple classic look of Lloyd's?
Using just a typography based logo? Or would you like to see an icon of some sort?

I love the icon idea. So maybe like an icon with the name of the company also? You are correct on the classic look. As for colors anything but brown (No brown in town, Eric!). Nothing to flashy. Most of my clients are rather conservative but on the other hand this is international risk/insurance so i don't want it to be too boring.

Thanks yes that does help, its my first time using design crowd, I usually have meetings with my clients before I start a project so I'm not used to having such a short brief and I would like to be able to give you the best solution possible.
Icons are great at reflecting what the company stands for, would you like to see something to represent the healthcare side or maybe something abstract? (not flashy)

Black, grey, blue- represents stability, a lot of banks for example use it
If there are any other adjective you can think of that might represent what your company stands for please let me know. I will get started on this!

I like the black and grey but not the blue. i will upload my business card from my other company. i really like this color of green. if this could be part of the scheme, i would love it. thanks!
