I m not too happy with what the current developers have been done so far (in terms of design), so I hope to find a great designer her to develop a design that kicks arses. : )
We are currently developing a site for the German market that brings travel agents and cruise holiday makers together. We are not an ordinary travel agency.
Kreuzfahrthammer is a quick and convenient way to have independent travel agencies compete to offer our site visitors the best cruise deal available in Europe.
Here is a short video that explains what one of our competitors does; it gives a good overview as our site will be similar:

(Cruisecompete.com is not a great website in terms of design, so please dont get me wrong.)
The logo has already been created, but both the colours (should remain blueish) and the font can be modified. The font colour can be changed dramatically if you think this is of advantage.
The Website design should be professional and unique and become an eye catcher. It must attract visitors of all age groups, a "wow-effect" is definitely a bonus.
Users should easily see what this website is about.
We need the following text on our homepage:
"Immer der beste Preis -
denn Reisebüros kämpfen um Sie!"
(means "Always the best rate - as travel agents compete offer the best deal")
This is a sort of headline.

1. Wunschkreuzfahrt wählen

(This explains briefly how our system works.)
Aside banners maybe needed later for advertising.

A maritime look is surely an option here, as we focus on cruises. But maybe you can surprise me with a great idea.
I quite like the designs where basically one photo / picture is used.

Later today I will have a decent internet connection connection again, so I will be able to finally comment on your ideas and visions.
Hopefully next week we can finalize this project. Feel free to submit more designs or ask any questions if there are any.
Remember: Kreuzfahrthammer won't be an ordinary travel agent. It brings cruise holiday makers and travel agents together.
