Regarding your design description

3, The testimonials of the 'what customers say' to change every few seconds.
4, The front page image to change every few seconds to a image of my choice.
5, any other suggestions you feel would benefit my site (obviously willing to pay extra for this and within this site)
6, given my limited knowledge my html code will surely need tidying also

That would mean literally making a new website with new codes, which means the winner price is a little too low
I will join the contest and make you a new design and live working demo website for 2 pages, if you like the design and wish to use it, then can I expect extra prize ?

As the others said. This is a DESIGN contest. This means that the end result is a picture (or CSS). If you want your website coded too, the prize should be 500-600 MINIMUM.

The prize is too low for a fully coded dynamic site. please make it 1000 if you want this level of design & functionality else no good designers will ever work on it. Just my few cents of advice.
