Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for a new pastry shop called "Dulce." Dulce means sweet in Spanish.

The shop will sell artisan breads and modern French pastry, all made in house. Everything is made from scratch, and we will work with local farmers and producers where possible. The pastry is in the French tradition, but focuses on new flavors and designs with modern interpretations rather than sticking with the classic form.

The logo design should be modern and contemporary but upscale and elegant. The design should make a brand statement and will be used as the calling card for the business brand- think celebrity chef.

The logo will likely be translated into transfer sheets and a negative impression for stamping wax and chocolate or a stencil for shaking confectioner's sugar over. We may use the logo on packaging materials as well (bags, take out containers, etc).

One possible example (although we are open to any submissions) is Pierre Herme's logo (www.pierreherme.com) which uses his initials- our variant would be the letter D in some script incorporated into the design.
