Hi there!

Is this the correct site in place for your organization?

http://www.centerforneighborhoodleadership.org/

If so, the logo and color scheme should be factored into the overall design to ensure brand recognition. What is the result you want this brochure to achieve? Increased donations? Awareness? Ongoing funding from already established funding partners? Volunteer recruitment? or perhaps a results based thank you and invitation for the recipient to consider donating additional funds to support the upcoming programs being developed?

Is this a template you wish to have created to use for multiple projects where you are able to plug in the new information on a quarterly basis type thing or do you have specific content you want included with this brochure?

I will likely have additional questions but getting the answers to the above questions will help a great deal in delivering the end results you are looking to achieve.

Looking forward to hearing back from you, I hope you have a wonderful day!

Sincerely,

Michelle Johnson

Clients Original Design Brief from Project Page for Reference Purposes Only:
We need a brochure design for the Center For Neighborhood Leadership a community Organizing training and a capacity building program. CNL currently has 2 programs, An apprenticeship and training course. We expect to add additional programs. The program is not aimed at young people, however the majority of the participants are under 30. The brochure is aimed at funders (foundations etc.) and potential participating organizations, rather than the actual apprenticeship or course participants. The purpose of the brochure is to demonstrate the effectiveness of the program. The design should communicate success, growth, grassroots approach, learning, growth and development. The brochure should have space for data e.g. "xyz% of participants go on to do ABC" , room for "where are they now" testimonials, photos and a program overview.

Hi Michelle,

Thanks for your comments. This is actually my first time using a resource like designcrowd some I'm sure I'm probably not as efficient as I could be. We also have a logo job posted as well. Since CNL is a slightly separate program within a larger organization it doesn't have its own brand identity. You're right, it would make sense if the logo and brochure projects were better coordinated. We started off just wanting a logo and then thought "oh, perhaps a brochure would be nice". The site you posted isn't our website. CNL currently has a page on our organizations website but it isn't meeting our needs (the website generally) and we are currently thinking about the best way to address this problem. This is a long term and systemic issue that won't be resolved within the timeframe of the brochure project.

The results we are looking for are: awareness of the program model and impact/results, and an increase in funding from larger funding sources rather than individual donations.

We have specific content, but would like to be able to update it as the programs grows, or to add the name of a new funder etc.

Thanks so much for the questions, they were really helpful. If you have others or feedback on the project description, feel free to shoot them my way.

best,
Ericka
