Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
We need a logo for our Tactical Pen (image attached). It is a ruggedized pen for first responders and the military intended for use in harsh environments. It has an integrated LED on the writing tip, retractable nib, integrated screwdriver / handcuff key, glass breaker and touchscreen stylus.
We are looking for a logo we can print n the side of the pen so in needs to be a landscape orientation design. The logo needs to convey strength durability and reliability and keep in mind the target audience is police, military, fire departments and the like. I think the solid and dependable nature of metal (the pen is made from aircraft grade aluminum) may be an important attribute.
I need to resulting logo as both a .PNG with transparent background as well as the editable graphics files. The pen will be black so the logo needs to be white or light grey, however we also need a colored logo for use on a website.

Aktualisierungen
Please avoid any designs that involve a fountain pen tip. This seems to be a recurring theme amongst designers and does not suit the tactical feel we are looking for.

After careful consideration I am leaning towards the idea of using a blue ringed octopus as par of the logo. It produces ink, is Australian and deadly. Please look at how you could incorporate a beefed up / militaristic / armored blue ringed octopus into your designs
